All Students

Long hair must be pulled back and secured with clips.

Students will not be allowed in class with any clothing that has belts, snaps, buckles, zippers or rivets. The only jewelry allowed is ear studs.

Water bottles are acceptable in the gym. They must contain only water; no sports drinks, juice or soft drinks. No food is allowed in the gym area.

Parking is available on the southeast side of the RGA building. Because our parking is limited, overflow parking is available across Bargeway Rd. in the field adjacent to the UPS Customer Center. Please do not park on Bargeway Rd. or River Rd. or block the vehicles and entrance of our neighbors at Devco Mechanical Inc.

Before class

  • Cubbies are available for students in the gym near the bleachers, for storage of street shoes. There are additional cubbies in the women’s bathroom/changing area and outside Gym B.
  • Preschool and Recreation classes are held in the main gym or in the Gym B room. Prior to class, students are asked to wait in the adjacent waiting area for their instructor to take roll.
  • We suggest that all students use the restroom prior to class. We request that all students use the provided Sani wipes to wipe hands and feet prior to class before using the equipment.
  • Students are asked to wait in the viewing area prior to class. Students are NOT allowed to practice their skills at this time. At class time, instructors will greet students, take roll and lead their students on to the gym floor. ONLY students registered in class and under instruction are allowed beyond the viewing area or on the equipment.

During class

  • Gymnastic classes begin with a group warm-up. This may include running and jumping followed by stretching exercises to prepare the gymnasts for class.
  • After warm-ups, the gymnasts will rotate through the various gymnastics events. Instructors will provide for water breaks during their rotations.
