Riverside is committed to providing each student a comprehensive and high quality gymnastic education. All of our USAG safety certified coaches and well trained instructors work together to create a positive training program designed to meet the needs of each and every student.
Sarah Smith, is responsible for overall recreation programs, curriculum, supervision of all recreation instructors, and oversight of the preschool program.
Lead Team Coaches are responsible for the competitive teams, coaching assignments, curriculum content, and advancing gymnasts within the USAG designated gymnastic levels.
Sarah Smith Lead Team Coach competitive Levels 3-5, Jacque Johnston Lead Team Coach optional Level 6-10.
Deidre Baumgarten is a gymnast and USAG competitive judge. She has designed and established Riverside's Kindergym program, introducing little ones to the gymnastics environment in a fun and dynamic way.
Mimi McDonell has been teaching ballet and other forms of dance in The Dalles for over 10 years.
Ashley Zistel is excited to team up with Riverside to begin building a cheer program. Her love for cheer began in her high school days, cheering for football and basketball. After winning first in her conference, she went on to competitive cheer. Ashley and her team competed both at national and world levels.
Alejandro and Ronelle Masters, in partnership with Riverside, will begin offering instruction in Circus skills! As Duo Masters, the couple have been performing in England, Finland, Spain, Mexico and the United States. Alejandro is a third generation circus artist, born in Spain and raised in England. Ronelle, was born in The Dalles, Oregon and has vast experience in all aerial skills including trapeze, silks, rope and cradle.
Sue Hinatsu is responsible for all record keeping associated with Riverside, including registration, tuition, and attendance records.
